ARTIV Terms of Use

User and Seller Accounts

• Both Users and Sellers must be at least 13+ years old to register on ARTIV.
• Users and Sellers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
• ARTIV reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our terms.

Buying and Bidding

• Buyers can place bids on auctioned artworks directly.
• The highest bidder at the close of an auction will receive a notification asking, "Do you want to buy this artwork? Respond within 12 hours."
• Failure to respond within 12 hours may result in the artwork being listed under “Unsold Items.”

Selling Artworks

• Sellers must provide accurate images of their artworks (with signatures).
• ARTIV reserves the right to review and approve artworks before listing (through automation).
• Sellers agree to fulfill successful sales promptly.

Payments and Fees

• ARTIV may charge a commission or listing fee for transactions on the platform.
• Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers.
• Buyers and sellers are responsible for any applicable taxes or duties.

Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

• List counterfeit or unauthorized artworks.
• Engage in fraudulent or misleading bidding practices.
• Use ARTIV for illegal or unethical activities.

Intellectual Property

• Sellers retain ownership of their artwork but grant ARTIV the right to display and market their listings.
• ARTIV owns all platform-related branding, design, and content.

Liability and Disclaimers

• ARTIV acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for the quality or authenticity of artworks.
• Users assume all risks associated with transactions.
• ARTIV is not liable for losses due to system downtime, cyberattacks, or third-party failures.

Termination and Modifications

• ARTIV may update these Terms of Use at any time, with notice provided to users.
• Users who continue to use the platform after changes are posted agree to the revised terms.
